Smarter Drafter is an automated legal document provider based in Australia. Smarter Drafter connects with triConvey via Smokeball and allows you to:
- use triConvey contacts when creating forms in Smarter Drafter; and
- save documents generated in Smarter Drafter to a matter in triConvey.

Getting Started
Visit Smarter Drafter website to schedule a consultation.
Setting up the integration
1. Log in to Smarter Drafter and navigate to Account Settings.
2. Select Integrations and then select Smokeball - Legal Practice Management Software.
3. Click Enable. You will be prompted to enter your triConvey login details.
The integration will be activated and all contact and matters will be synced from triConvey to Smarter Drafter.
How the integration works
Syncing contacts
Contacts in triConvey are synced to Smarter Drafter every time you use a Smart Q&A Form. To use a triConvey contact, start typing their name into the Name field and select it to automatically fill in their details in the document.
The following fields will be automatically populated in the Smart Q&A form:
- Name
- Address
- Trust information
- Other personal details
After submitting a document, you will be asked if you want to save any new contact information into Smokeball.
Sending documents to triConvey
After submitting a document in Smarter Drafter, you will be asked if you wish to send the document to the triConvey matter. From there, you can choose the matter to send it to and the document will then appear in a folder within the triConvey matter.
You can also send the document to triConvey at any time by selecting Send to Smokeball from the Submission table.
