To help you keep track of client meetings by documenting what was discussed and who attended, you can now create a File Note (also called Progress Note).

File Notes are only available from V9.2. Click here to learn how to check your triConvey version.
Create a File Note
1. Open a matter in the triConvey Desktop App.
2. Select New Document from the Matter Action Bar.
3. Select File Note.
Tip: The File Note will open in Microsoft Word, where you can start adding your notes.
4. Select Save & Close from the top-left corner of the Word Action Bar.
5. After saving the File Note, it will be available from the All Files section of the matter.
Customise your firm's File Note template
triConvey provides a default File Note template, but you can change it if you want to use your own.
1. Select the gear icon from the top-right corner of the triConvey Desktop App.
2. Click Document Containers.
3. Right-click on the File Note document container and select Modify.
Tip: The template will open in Microsoft Word.
4. Make your changes as needed and then Save and Close the template. Learn more about modifying document containers.
